Members of the Red Deer River Naturalists were advised at their meeting last week that two golden eagles had been caught in wolf snares near Sundre. Carol Kelley of the Medicine River Wildlife Society, where the injured eagles were brought, explained that the injuries were severe but that the birds will likely recover.
